This guy hates long and helpful reviews, so I'll get to the point for his sake: it's even worse than the original.
How did he even manage that?
Anyhow, this review's getting a little long.... here's a one out of sympathy.

That's a pretty pathetic attempt to insult me....worse than...the original? You realize it's still in the top games of all time on newgrounds...right? That I won awards with it?
I like constructive criticism, not long opinions about why someone hates the game, if you don't like the overall design, it's not like I'll go "oh dear...let me change everything about the game to please you"
Now if you like the game but some things could be better, than I'm all ears, notice how the game is already at version 1.09? it's not like I'm just sitting on my ass, pondering about how great me and my games are. I'm WORKING on them, fixing what can be fixed to make it better and more fun.
An absolutely great, smartly done (for the most part) defense game. Definitely worth five stars, but there are still some problems, MAJOR ones...
{A WARNING TO THIS GAME'S CREATOR & REVIEWERS!!!}:
Even after only two pages of reviews, I think people are confused about the game's difficulty and this might tank the game score-wise. If possible, you need to find a way to make the yellow-circle abilities at the bottom of the skill trees more obvious as pivotal skills to those trees and thus the game (I suggest making them larger and DEFINITELY putting them at the top-middle of the trees... overlapping the rectangles a bit perhaps?.... or something like that).
I played about 3 times in the same mood as those saying it was too difficult before realizing the yellow skills (particularly "orc damage") were pivotal to the game... at least early on. At first I just put points into the +5% damage skill and was annoyed and thought it a pretty stupid design choice while watching my damage increase by a useless 1 each level. In retrospect, I appreciate the nuance of having both damage skills, though... but, again, THE YELLOW SKILLS ***NEED*** TO PLACED MORE OBVIOUSLY AS PIVOTAL SKILLS, as I'm assuming this is where most of the difficulty gripes are coming from.
{Misc. Praise}:
The skills remind me of Borderlands 2 with all the little optional niches and nuances (and mostly because of the "signature" ability of the golem placed above all the trees). The skills are interesting in how much they allow you to customize and *perhaps* require you to mix between the trees. However, the skills aren't very distinct from one another overall (mostly health +damage in varying amounts over and over under different skills) , but that's just a small issue of style/taste really.
Also, I like that there is even interesting variation in how you can handle combat: in rushing to get exp bags before they disappeared, I noticed you could time your way past spear-throwers, leap over knights (which was also an interesting way to try and flank them in combat), and even take a risk rushing behind the quick-striking melee units. Little things like this really help improve this gameplay.
{Small Gripes/Suggestions}:
Positioning the pig using the duck button early on is annoying and seems somewhat flawed: Once he's relatively close to you, you can't summon him directly on top of you, which makes positioning it around a golem annoying... and rectifying it by increasing the pig's attack distance is annoying as well since it gets locked behind you in this way significantly varying distances. Also, the pig's repetitive squeal if you hold the summon button down after he arrives is annoying as well.
Another gripe I have is also related to the unclear position of the yellow skills. Though I haven't tried these builds yet, it seems like the axe damage skill may be more necessary (or maybe even the only way) to survive the game early on, as compared to golem damage or pig damage.

Anyhow..... great game. Keep it up, I'd love to see more games like this from you in the future.
It's an alright game. It's very one dimensional, just keep shooting... over and over and over at things that take more and more shots. One major problem with this, though, is that the controls are poorly thought out. You give a lot of options, but each has horrible flaws: specifically, using the mouse becomes impossible when you need to be mobile because of your placement of the Newgrounds logo, which ends the game (it minimizes and halts your controls --- glitched to a constant downward walk after that); second, the space bar is just terrible, you have to physically move to aim.. which means you just run into things.
Well, nice try anyway.
It's sad that this doesn't have a higher rating, but maybe that's because it came before the reformat or something. This is one of the best tower defenses ever created in any medium. It's challenging, stylistic, and unique. It's a must play for anyone who is a fan of tower defenses or ever liked a tower defense when playing one.
How flash games should be...
This was a very well executed game. The little details really add up for this. Little nods to console/PC games are nice: Call of Duty with the load-out, which gives great customization; and even Left 4 Dead with the pills (maybe). The smooth 3D design really makes it it hard to that this a stick-figure game. The need for accuracy and the randomization of target locations can really change the pace of your play-throughs and are more little details that end up making this game very professionally executed. I think this game is an example of how flash games should be. A little longer and this game would have been truly epic.
Very Nice
Think you should just expand on these ideas a little bit. Games where you consume things are few and far between I think and this is definitely one of the best I've seen. Needs to be more challenging, have more unique things to eat because the units in this don't really stand out, and definitely expand on the upgrades. Maybe change the background at least after a couple of levels, too.
QQ.....
Very beatiful and mysterious throughout. Great art design and very calm and subtle audio. The endings were all very scary to me for some reason, even the good ones, just because it implied some link between "you" and the mysterious creature of the ocean depths, which is scary I guess. Ummm..... 10/10 btw, inspiring flash.
